DANVA is an interest organisation for everyone who works professionally with water, wastewater and climate adaptation. The association is an independent non-profit association, financed by the members and by revenue-covered business. DANVA represents the large and medium-sized water supplies in Denmark.

 

Danske Vandværker (The Association of Waterworks in Denmark) is a trade association for approximately 1,700 consumer-owned, co-operative and democratically founded water works, as well as companies that supply services, advice and materials to water works. Danske Vandværker works to protect groundwater. We train and advise the member waterworks and look after their interests both politically and professionally. In addition, efforts are also being made to spread awareness of member democracy and consumer ownership.

 


VELTEK is Denmark's largest technical trade association and represents approx. 125 companies with a total turnover of over DKK 30 billion in Denmark.

VELTEK ensures that the association's members have an optimal basis for running their business. Veltek safeguards the interests of the industry and members by facilitating subject-related knowledge and advising on industry-relevant matters. 

 

 

NPG Danmark is part of the Danish Plastics Federation in the Pipe Section. We look after the interests of the Danish plastic manufacturers and suppliers in connection with e.g. standardization, recycling and the DK-VAND approval scheme.

 

The Danish Technological Institute is an independent non-profit research and development institute with a vision to help businesses meeting the technological and business challenges of the future.

The Danish Technological Institute assists in creating future solutions in the water sector by having in-depth expertise within approval schemes, testing standards, material knowledge and European standardisation work related to materials in contact with drinking water.

The Danish Technological Institute has laboratory facilities for the documentation of pipes and components for drinking water, drainage and energy supply. With its expertise, the Institute helps shape the solutions of the future, which is crucial for maintaining a high safety and quality standard in Danish water supply.

The Danish Technological Institute is one of Denmark's seven Approved Technological Service Institutes (GTS Institutes), which is approved by the Ministry of Research and Education and is thus part of the GTS network.

 

Eurofins Product Testing Denmark A/S specialises in testing, consulting and certification of consumer products. The laboratory offers a wide range of services to manufacturers and importers. Eurofins focuses on the testing and certification of building materials, including drinking water installation products as well as testing and consulting within food contact materials.

Eurofins Product Testing's work within drinking water installation products consists of consultancy, testing and certification as well as participation in legislative working groups such as the Group of Future Notified Bodies for the Drinking Water Directive.

 

 

 

DK-VAND collaborates with DANCERT and DHI on certification and toxicological assessments.

 

Dancert A/S is a subsidiary of the Danish Technological Institut in charge of certifications. Dancert A/S is accredited for certification within DK-VAND and is a partner in INSTA-CERT.

Dancert A/S is accredited within a wide range of certification schemes in the technical area such as CE marking of construction products, certification of management systems within quality and environment, type testing and unit verification of machines and personal certification of structural engineers. Dancert is a notified body within the Building Products Regulation, the Pressure Equipment Directive, the ATEX Directive and the Machinery Directive.

Dancert is part of the Group of Future Notified Bodies for the Drinking Water Directive.

 

DHI A/S develops, applies and disseminates research, technology and digitisation within water and the aquatic environment. DHI was founded in 1964 and is active in 115 countries. DHI's 1,100 employees advise companies and public utilities in promoting sustainable development of the Earth's most precious resource – water. DHI is one of Denmark's seven Approved Technological Service Institutes (GTS institutes), which are approved by the Ministry of Research and Education and part of the GTS network.
