In order to obtain a DK-VAND certification, the requirements in the testing regulations for the current product must be met. This includes any mechanical/physical requirements. Test regulations

You must agree with Dancert which products you want certified. DHI then prepares a toxicological testing programme for the product including a raw material assessment, i.e. the polymer and all additives, e.g. antioxidants, auxiliaries, dyes, etc., included in the product.

DHI will forward the test programme to you.

Dancert selects items for testing at your company, and a migration test is carried out in accordance with the testing programme at a testing institute approved by Dancert and accredited for the tests in question.

DHI creates a toxicological assessment report. Dancert will contact you regarding the results of testing and toxicological assessment. Dancert administers the DK-VAND certification scheme regarding issue, renewal and cancellation of certificates.

Before you can label the product with the DK-VAND label, Dancert must carry out a certification audit of the company and ensure that you have complied with the requirements of the certification regulations. The audit report must be without deviations. The manufacturer bears the costs associated with this audit.

When everything is found to be in order, and when possible, deviations from the regulations have been handled and closed, Dancert will issue a DK-VAND certificate. The products must be labeled according to the certification regulations. Certificates
